Nasce La Speranza - Hope is Born

Latest Creation: Mantel Diorama
This Diorama was created in the wake of Hurricane Ike; you can see those familiar circular clouds. It was built in 12 days during which there was no power, cooking ability, pc, internet, telephone or cellular phone connections in the Studio or home. In a time when all people of the Houston-Galveston area were brought to terms with the word HOPE. When real humanity emerged from the rubble of destruction; when we were ‘powerless’ and yet gained so much inner power. It is a tribute to the hope that helped people survive.

There really is no boundry in Italy for this theme in wall plate decor.
From North to South, all Italians savor this fruitful art.
I finished this plate 3 weeks ago...and still enjoy looking at it..maybe
I'll make a few more items with the same theme.

Here is one of my Italian Ceramic plates. As it is inspired by the historic tiles of Sicily I've named it 'La Corda Gialla - Sicilia'.
